The Club Elite at 3285 Brinkley Road in Temple Hills, Md., was shut down by Prince George's County police.
The club has been the site of several violent incidents recently.
Last night a man was shot in the back while dancing. He's expected to be okay.
No suspect is in custody in the shooting.
Earlier this month an assault and a stabbing were reported in the parking lot at the club.
Today's closure was for licensing and dance permit violations.
