RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe has set a date for special elections to replace the three members of the General Assembly who were recently elected to Congress.
McAuliffe announced Tuesday that the special elections would be on Jan. 10.
In the state Senate, Republican Tom Garrett and Democrat A. Donald McEachin both won seats in Congress.
State House Del. Scott Taylor, a Republican, also won a seat in Congress.
