WASHINGTON — A two-story townhouse caught fire in the Petworth neighborhood in Northwest D.C. early Tuesday morning.
D.C. Fire and EMS said the fire was on the back porch of the home in the 4300 block of 7th Street NW at around 4:30 a.m.
It took less than an hour to put out the blaze, officials said.
Two people were taken to a hospital for evaluation.
Investigators were on the scene looking for a cause.
