Confirmed: Arnold Cameo in “Terminator Salvation”

"I'll be back" takes on a whole new meaning

The speculation is now over: California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will make a cameo in the upcoming Terminator sequel, "Terminator Salvation."

Actor Terry Crews confirmed the Governator's appearance in the latest iteration of the franchise to MTV.

"Exactly. There are a lot of guys in that movie. I mean, Terminator 4 is very big,” Crews said.

In addition to Crews the film is also set to star Christian Bale, Helena Bonham Carter, Common, and Jane Alexander. It's will open in the U.S. on May 21st.

Crews has no idea what role the original terminator will play, saying the Schwarzenegger's role was kept tighty under wraps.

“I don’t know; I haven’t seen it. They only gave out pages of the script,” Crews said. “It was crazy. It was very, very secretive. Believe me - when you see it, that will be the first time I saw it.”

The Terminator franchise began in 1984 and had two sequels: 1991's "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" and in 2003 "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines."

Schwarzenegger recently signed on to do a cameo in the upcoming movie "The Expendables" which coincidentally stars Terry Crews, Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham. That film is scheduled to be released in April 2010.
