After a long day at the beach, do you really wanna drive your sandy self back? Or do you want to snooze, chat and/or play on your iPad?
Yeah, we thought so.
Good thing DC2NY is bringing back its beach treks for another summer. The bus company will offer service from the District to Rehoboth and Dewey beaches in Delaware, starting Memorial Day Weekend.
Buses will run on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
You can catch a bus from either Dupont Circle or Union Station for $39 round-trip.(See a map of exact pickup locations here.)
And if you don't carry one of those mysterious historical items such as a book or magazine, you can still keep yourself entertained during the three-hour drive. The buses offer free wi-fi and electric outlets, as well as free bottled water.
Beach trips will be available through Labor Day, Sept. 3.
