    Summer is here, and many of our favorite outdoor movie spots are kicking off their season. 

    Scroll on for everything you need to know about where and when you can spend an evening in front of the big screen.

    NOTE: Film schedules are subject to change due to weather and such things. Please check with each movie series' official website to verify dates and times before you head out. 


    Adams Morgan Movie Nights, Soccer field at Marie Reed Elementary School. Movies start at 8:30 p.m. 

    June 26: "The Big Lebowski"

    D.C. Department of Recreation Family Movie Nights, Movie locations vary but all are held at D.C. recreaction centers. See website here for the complete schedule, which offers dozens of movies now through July 31.

    Georgetown Sunset Cinema, Georgetown Waterfront Park, intersection of K and Water Streets and Cecil Place NW. Movies begin at sunset.
