Metro Weekend Work Feb. 3 - 5

If your weekend plans take you into the city, especially from Northern Virginia, you can expect some delays if you take Metro. Track work will cause closures and delays on three of the transit system’s five lines.

The Rosslyn station on the Orange and Blue lines and the Arlington Cemetery on the Blue line will both close at 10:00 p.m. Friday. Free shuttle buses will be running to get you around those closed stations.

There will also be single tracking on the Red line between the Van Ness and Friendship Heights stations.

Metro officials say all the work should be completed in time for the Monday morning commute.
