Little girl struck in the foot

Three people were shot, including a 3-year-old girl, in southeast D.C. Monday night, D.C. police confirmed.

About 8:15 p.m., two men wearing hoodies walked into an intersection near the 1500 block of 19th Street SE and opened fire.

Two men were struck in the leg. One of the men was the 26-year-old stepfather of a little girl was hit in the foot.

That man told News4's Pat Collins that once he was taken to a hospital, everybody was removed from his house and police searched it.

"We as the victims [are] treated like supects, and they basically came in and I guess they wanted to find whatever they could," he said. "There's nothing to find here."

Police don't have information on a suspect right now.
