Smithsonian's Air & Space Museum Needs 6 Years of Repair

The Smithsonian's Air & Space Museum sees nearly 9 million visitors a year. But construction shortcuts when it was built in the 1970s are causing huge problems now; the Tennessee pink marble slabs encasing the building are buckling, and all of them have to be replaced. The museum needs $100 million just to start -- and says the repairs will require six years to complete. The museum will stay open during that time, which was a relief to the tourists who spoke to News4's Tom Sherwood Thursday.
