"Pink Robber" Suspect in Custody For Two Bank Robberies in December

    A Landover, Maryland, woman suspected of robbing two banks while dressed head-to-toe in pink is in custody.

    Police said Wednesday Ariel Symone McFarlin, 23, of the 8500 block of Fieldstone Way in Landover, was arrested thanks to an anonymous tip.

    She is suspected of robbing two banks in December while dressed entirely in pink and holding a pink cellphone.

    McFarlin allegedly robbed the Capital One Bank on Eastern Avenue in Chillum and the Capital One Bank in the 6200 block of Annapolis Road in Landover.

    Police said McFarlin admitted her involvement in both incidents.
