Missing Virginia Teens May Have Taken Taxi to Maryland, Police Say

A missing teenage boy and girl from Fairfax County, Virginia, may have taken a taxi to Maryland, Fairfax County police say.

Facette "Daniel" Lema, a 13-year-old girl, and Rudy Torzano, a 14-year-old boy, were last seen at their homes in the Fairfax area just after 10 p.m. Tuesday. Their families reported them missing the following morning.

There's a possibility the two took a taxi to the Jessup, Maryland, area.

While police believe the two left voluntarily, investigators say Lema is in need of medication that she did not take with her.

Lema was last seen wearing jeans or black leggings, a T-shirt with a skull on it and a black and red "Star Wars" jacket. A clothing description was not provided for Torzano.

Anyone with information that can help police is asked to call 703-691-2131.
