JetBlue Plane Engine Catches Fire at BWI

The engine of a JetBlue plane caught fire shortly after arriving at Baltimore-Washington International Airport Wednesday.

It began as Flight 1329 from Boston taxied to gate at Concourse D. BWI Fire and Rescue responded to the scene and extinguished the fire.

Passengers exited the plane normally. There were no injuries and no impact on airport operations, said Jonathan Dean of BWI Airport Operations.
