A Bethesda salon was open for business when a driver crashed into it.

Montgomery County Police Department investigators are working to determine the circumstances leading to an accident in which an elderly driver struck a parked car before plowing into Alexis Hair Salon.

The second vehicle was pushed by the impact into a dry cleaners, which was closed at the time.

The accident took place in the Bradley Blvd. Shopping Center on the 6900 block of Arlington Road.

Three people were evaluated at the scene. The elderly driver was taken to the hospital with non–life threatening injuries. The other two people refused to be transported to the hospital.

Montgomery County officials called for a building inspector and expect both buildings to be closed until repairs can be made.
