Metro trains will share a single track this weekend on the Red Line and buses will replace trains on a portion of the Orange Line.

On the Orange Line, four stations will be closed: Vienna, Dunn Loring-Merrifield, West Falls Church and East Falls Church.

Local and express shuttle buses will run between Vienna and Ballston.

On the Red Line, trains will single-track in two segments: between Friendship Heights and Van Ness, and between Takoma and Rhode Island Avenue. Trains between Shady Grove and Glenmont will run every 24 minutes in both directions.

Between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, trains between Van Ness and NoMa-Gallaudet will run every 12 minutes.

There is no scheduled track work on the Green, Yellow, or Blue lines this weekend.
