"Well, I'd like to see more films. I wanna direct a film," Cher told Access at the Glamour Magazine 2010 Women of the Year Gala in New York City when asked about what lays ahead for her career.

The "Burlesque" star was modest when it came to talking about her lifetime of achievements.

"They give you something if you can hang around long enough," she said of her honor from the magazine, which was presented by one of her "Burlesque" co-stars, Stanley Tucci.

In addition to her work in Hollywood, the 64-year-old is lending her support to those in need on the other side of the globe.

"I have a school in Africa and I also feed the children there," Cher said, explaining that she would also like to devote more time working with charitable organizations that feed the hungry.
