D.C.'s Department of Parks and Recreation will be offering extended summer camp at five locations.
Officials announced Tuesday that they will hold extended summer camp for kids ages 3 to 13 next Monday through Friday. The camps will be offered at Banneker, Turkey Thicket, Rosedale, Deanwood and Fort Stanton recreation centers.
Each location will offer two programs: Junior Engineers for ages 3 to 5 and Fun with Engineering for ages 6 to 13. There are 25 spaces available for each program at each location.
The cams run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and costs $50 for the week. There is also before and after care service for a fee.
Registration for the camps will open on Wednesday at noon at: summercamps.dc.gov.
