The suspect in the slaying of a 14-year-old on a public bus in Silver Spring was indicted by a grand jury on a murder charge Thursday.
Hector Hernandez, 20, is accused of shooting and killing Tai Lam on a Ride On bus last month.
A 14-year-old boy named Tai Lam was shot and killed on a public bus in Silver Spring last month, police said. He also struck two other teenagers on the bus that was stopped on Piney Branch Road. Those teens are recovering.
