Dominion Donates to Food Banks in 14 States

RICHMOND, Va. -- Virginia-based energy provider Dominion Resources is donating $1.1 million to food banks in 14 states.
 
The contribution announced Monday in Richmond will provide 21.4 million pounds of food and groceries to food banks in states where Dominion operates.
 
The states and the donations are:
 
  • Virginia, $520,000;
  • Ohio, $250,000;
  • Pennsylvania and West Virginia, $70,000 each;
  • Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York, a total of $70,000;
  • Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana, a total of $50,000.
  • Maryland and Texas, $20,000 each.
  • North Carolina, $35,000.
