I can't help but overfloweth with D.C. pride as I write that D.C.'s very own Teddy Folkman of Granville Moore's is now officially part of the Season Five lineup for The Next Food Network Star.
Folkman worked with a variety of fare at a number of kitchens throughout the D.C. metropolitan area before taking up the role of executive chef at gastropub Granville Moore's in September 2007.
You might have caught his first Food Network appearance last year, when he one-upped Bobby Flay in an episode of Throwdown.
Just further proof that D.C. rules and N.Y. drools.
