Woman Fatally Stabbed During Fight Outside Metrobus

WASHINGTON (AP) — Police say a woman was stabbed to death by another woman during a fight outside of a Metrobus in Northwest Washington.

District police say the incident happened Monday night. The victim has not been identified.

Police say two women were fighting on the bus, which continued as they got off it. They say one woman then stabbed the other in the chest.

The victim was taken in an ambulance, but later died.

Officials with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority say although the stabbing didn’t occur on the bus, they are looking at camera footage to see if there’s anything that would help police.

Investigators say they’re looking for a black female between the ages of 17 and 19, wearing dark pants and a denim jacket.
