Rihanna's borrowed jewelry from the night of her alleged assault by Chris Brown will be returned, Access Hollywood has learned.
At a hearing in the Chris Brown case on Wednesday, it was decided that the LAPD would photograph the jewelry – worth $1.4 million – and return it to its owners.

Rihanna had borrowed the jewelry for a party honoring Clive Davis the night before the Grammy Awards on February 18, after which she was allegedly bit and hit in an incident with Brown.
Donald Etra, an attorney for the "Umbrella" singer, filed a motion last Tuesday asking that Los Angeles police and prosecutors return a pair of earrings and three rings, which were seized as evidence.
The Brown case will continue later this month. A preliminary hearing setting date will be held May 28.
Rihanna will not be called upon to testify on that day – if she is called, it will be at a later time.
After the hearing, Chris Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, had some harsh words, possibly directed at the LAPD over the online leak of a photo of Rihanna taken shortly after the alleged assault.
"The leaks confirm the basis for a motion to dismiss the case in regards to outrageous governmental misconduct," Geragos told Access after the hearing.
