WASHINGTON -- A woman was found stabbed to death in northwest D.C. Friday morning.
The 40-year-old woman from El Salvador was waiting at a bus stop at Third and R streets when she was attacked in a possible robbery attempt.
She tried to walk home and collapsed near her house near Florida Avenue, where she was found.
Several streets were closed while police canvassed the area.
