Crucial Testing Lapsed Ahead of Red Line Derailment

Metro leaders and concerned officials, including congresswomen Barbara Comstock, gathered Thursday to discuss Metro safety after a recent derailment on the Red Line. Officials discovered Metro employees had allowed crucial radio testing to slip by weeks at a time. Timely testing could have potentially identified and fixed a communication issue during the derailment. News4’s Adam Tuss reports.
