Police are looking for the woman who abandoned a cat in a parking lot in Loudoun County on Wednesday afternoon.

A short time later, animal control officers found an 8-year-old tabby abandoned in a shopping cart in the parking lot along with a bag of food, a plastic bowl, and a pillow sham.
