A 20-year-old man has died and his younger brother was injured in a shooting early Monday in the Alexandria section of Fairfax County, Virginia.

Fairfax County Police were called about 2:30 a.m. to the 7900 block of Sausalito Place, where they found 18-year-old Kamren Quick outside with an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries that were later found to be not life-threatening.

Officers found Quick's older brother, 20-year-old Jayden Quick, also of Alexandria, dead inside a home, police said. He also appeared to have been shot.
