MCPS to Announce School Expansion Plans

News4 has learned the head of Montgomery County Schools will reveal expansion plans in the next 48 hours. The district is the largest in Maryland, and it’s increasingly overcapacity and under pressure to find space for all its students. As Scott MacFarlane reports, Montgomery County’s school superintendent is planning a press conference for Tuesday — in which he’ll issue a warning about several high schools in particular.
