Maryland Man Dies After 911 Outage

A 40-year-old Rockville, Maryland, man on kidney dialysis had a medical emergency as Montgomery County’s 911 system failed for two hours late Sunday and early Monday. Marlon Somarriba died. His brother told News4’s Jackie Bensen that family members got a busy signal as they called 911 over and over again for an hour.
