Fairfax Co. Student: Transgender Bathroom Order Could Save Lives

In Fairfax County, News4 found school leaders on both sides of the debate about whether students should be able to use restrooms that correspond with their gender identity. An 18-year-old high school senior said President Barack Obama’s directive makes youth “feel like they actually belong in the society.”
