U.S. Naval Academy Plebes Climb Herndon Monument

Following tradition, the freshman class at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis climbed up the Herndon Monument. The 21-foot statue is covered with 50 pounds of grease. The goal is to replace the Dixie cup at the top with an upper classman’s hat.
