Wax Museum Embraces ‘Change'

Madame Tussauds lowering admission prices

WASHINGTON -- A D.C. landmark is embracing this political season's message of "change" when it comes to their ticket prices.

Madame Tussauds is lowering ticket prices for admission starting Election Day. Regardless of who wins the presidential election, they'll still lower prices, General Manager Janine DiGioacchio said.

Starting Nov. 4 and continuing through New Year's Eve, ticket prices will drop to $10 for adults and seniors, $8 for kids 12 and under, and free for children under the age of 4.

Those prices come just after the wax attraction celebrated its first anniversary of being in the city. The museum is "thrilled to be a part of the nation's capital at such a historic moment in our country's history," DiGioacchino said. She hopes the ticket prices will be a nice "change" for main street visitors who want to enjoy the wax exhibits.
