WASHINGTON — A driver was killed Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle crash on Route 15 north of Leesburg, Virginia.
Loudoun County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Kraig Troxell said the incident occurred just before 6 a.m.
One vehicle crossed over the dividing line of the two-lane road and struck another vehicle head-on.
One of the drivers, an adult male, was pronounced dead on the scene.
The site of the crash is a short distance from the Raspberry Falls Golf and Hunt Club.
As of 8:30 a.m., Route 15 was closed in both directions.
