Man Gets 48 Years in Prison for Seafood Restaurant Stabbing

BALTIMORE (AP) — Authorities say a man convicted of stabbing four people during a fight at a Baltimore seafood restaurant has been sentenced to 48 years in prison.

The Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office said Kevin Tusing was sentenced after being found guilty of first-and-second-degree assault, three counts of reckless endangerment, and three counts of use of a deadly weapon.

Officials say Tusing sexually assaulted a woman at Jimmy’s Seafood in October and became aggressive after he was confronted by employees and other witnesses. Authorities say he used a knife to cut and stab several people who tried to stop him from leaving the restaurant.

Tusing was released on parole three months before the Jimmy’s Seafood stabbing. He pleaded guilty in 2005 to another stabbing and a manslaughter charge in a shooting.
