2 Teens Shot Outside of a Party in Virginia

KING GEORGE, Va. (AP) — Authorities say two teenagers were shot and wounded outside a large party in Virginia.

The Free Lance-Star reports deputies received a report at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday of an ongoing fight outside of a Masonic Lodge. The caller also told police that several shots were fired outside the building.

King George County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kecia Wharton says arriving deputies found a 17-year-old boy. A 19-year-old boy fled in a car and was later located on the side of Route 301.

The teens were transported to the hospital. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Wharton says most of the partygoers claim they did not see or hear anything.
