Voluntary Gel Fuel Recall

The government announced a recall of two million pourable gel fuels used to light fire pots and tiki torches following two deaths and dozens of injuries. (Some video clips video courtesy of the National Fire Protection Association.)

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of gel fuels because of flash fire and burn risks.

The risk comes when pourable gel fuels are added to already burning fire pots.
