Shanahan Collides With Players in OTA

Pierre Garcon, Robert Griffin III and Tim Hightower react to a collision involving Washington Redskins Coach Mike Shanahan Monday.

The first of three organized team activities was not a great on for Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan Monday. The coach was involved in a collision with two players during practice.

New wide receiver Pierre Garcon and cornerback Brandyn Thompson clobbered Shanahan when they went up for a pass at midfield. The coach was watching another drill.

Shanahan didn’t move for several minutes before getting up and finishing the practice.
