On Monday, Madden NFL 21 released their rankings for top 10 highest-rated quarterbacks for 2021. Ravens fans might not be thrilled with where NFL MVP Lamar Jackson landed, but the competition was tough.
Leading the pack at No.1 is Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes, who earned himself a 99 QB rating this week and a $503 million contract last week. Seahawks' Russell Wilson is right behind him with a 97 overall rating, making both of them the only two QB's with ratings over 95.
Jackson, your 2019 league MVP and this year's Madden 21 cover athlete, comes in at number 3 in the rankings with a 94 overall rating. He's just ahead of New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees (93) and well ahead of new Tampa Bay quarterback Tom Brady (90).
Just two QBs over a 95. Rodgers outside the 90s club.

Jackson made a huge jump from last season's rating when he was 76 overall, 25th among QB's. Wondering what skill attributed to his jump to No. 3? His speed. To refresh your memory, back in November of 2019 Jackson broke Michael Vick's Madden speed record with a 96 rating making him the fastest QB in Madden history.
From one Madden legend to the next. @Lj_era8 takes the crown as the fastest QB in Madden history!

Not long after that, in Baltimore against the New York Jets, Jackson broke another one of Vicks records. Surpassing 1,039 rushing yards, which is the most by a quarterback in a single season. The reigning league MVP always said he would watch Vicks highlights, but now he's created his own highlight reel after a historic 2019 season with Baltimore. Ravens Flock is counting down the days until they can see him break some more ankles!
