As pitchers and catchers reported to Sarasota, FL., for Spring Training on February 17 it marked the return of Orioles baseball for the 2021 season. On the 22nd, the team will host its full-squad workout before games begin soon after.
Spring Training will be an interesting month or so for Baltimore that is worth monitoring closely. Though Fangraphs has already eliminated the Orioles from playoff contention before a single pitch has been thrown, the weeks of exhibition games will allow the organization to potentially get a look at some of its top prospects.
