During the Washington Football team's Week 16 loss to the Carolina Panthers, quarterback Taylor Heinicke -- who had just been signed to the practice squad a few weeks earlier -- was thrust into the game to replace a struggling Dwayne Haskins.

Heinicke played well in limited action, but it was Washington rookie Chase Young who stole the show. The pass rusher was wearing a microphone and his pronunciation of the quarterback's last name quickly made its way on social media.

"Heinick-E! Heinick-E!" Young said.

While fans loved the moment, they weren't the only ones, either.

During his end of season press conference, Washington wide receiver Cam Sims called that moment one of his favorite -- and one of the funniest -- moments of the 2020 season.

"Probably Chase, when he was yelling Heinick-E, Heinick-E," Sims said, laughing. "I heard him all game. That's one of them."

Two weeks later, Heinicke was once again moved into the starting lineup for Washington's playoff game against Tampa Bay due to an injury to Alex Smith.

Although Washington lost, 31-23, Heinicke turned in one of the best performances from a Washington quarterback in recent history, throwing for over 300 yards and a touchdown while rushing for an additional 46 yards and a touchdown, too.

Sims also benefitted from Heinicke in the lineup. He hauled in a team-high seven passes for 104 yards in the loss.
