The Hill's annual list of the 50 Most Beautiful People has been released, and it's sure to cause another server crash as Congress determines who to try to woo for their next extramarital affair.
So who tops the 2009 list of Hill beauties? Rep. Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.)., come on down!
What makes Heinrich so beautiful? Apparently his ability to walk!
The avid outdoorsman, who once ran a wilderness adventure program for children and teens, now has to rely on his trips from his fifth-floor Longworth office to the House floor for exercise and sun exposure.
“I make it to the gym, but not as much as I’d like to, so going up and down six flights of stairs helps a lot,” he says.
Coming in at No. 2 on the Top 50 list is ... an Australian? Birthers, cue the outrage!
Oh, wait. Kay Gerard is not an Australian -- yet. The Maine native is apparently leaving her job as scheduler for Sen. Susan Collins (R.-Maine) soon to move to Australia to be with her Aussie boyfriend, according to the Hill. So a return trip to the Most Beautiful list seems to be out of the question.
