Senator Casey Pleads for Mom and Son to Not Be Deported to Honduras

Senator Bob Casey sent a letter to President Trump pleading for a mother and 5-year-old son who were sent back to Honduras after being held at the Berks County Immigration Detention Facility. Casey said the mother witnessed a murder in Honduras and has been pursued by gang members because of it. A spokesperson from ICE responded to Casey’s letter Tuesday night.
