Actress Raquel Welch last week got a pat down at O'Hare International Airport after her black-satin bustier set off the metal detectors.
The Chicago-born actress, in town to tout her new book, "Raquel: Beyond the Cleavage" couldn't get beyond security because of metal in her Dolce & Gabbana lingerie.
"It was hilarious," Welch’s publicist, Julie Nathanson, said Tuesday, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. "Every alarm in the hemisphere went off."
The New York Post, which broke the "news" Monday, said that Welch was patted down by a Transportation Security Administration agent for several minutes in a clear, square box in full view of waiting passengers.
Welch later changed her clothes and caught her flight to Los Angeles.
"It was a little embarrassing. She probably isn't going to fly in a bustier any more," Nathanson said.
