Designer Living: Redesigned Italian Style

Interior Designer Joshua Cain of Saxony Design Build welcomes us inside a 1930s Italian-styled home that he re-designed for his clients in Pasadena, CA. Joshua used earth tones to really capture the Italian casual indoor/outdoor lifestyle. He shows how he infused more architectural character in the house through plastered stenciled medallions, custom furniture, and niches that are accurate to the period and also includes an interesting focal point in the library with a vintage Italian canvas map on the ceiling which pays homage to the homeowner’s lineage. This episode of Open House was hosted from the Trump Soho at 246 Spring Street, New York, NY. For more information about this property, please call 212-965-0008 or visit the website.
