Magnets offer New Solution to Heartburn

People who suffer from chronic heartburn now have a new solution – magnets. Doctors at UC San Diego placed a string of magnets in a patient’s esophagus in order to keep acid out of the stomach, the first surgery of its kind since the FDA approved this treatment in March.
