Gaunt from cancer treatment, Michael Douglas is still regularly making the grueling trip to a Pennsylvania prison to visit his son Cameron, who is serving five years for dealing drugs.

"Michael is still visiting with Cameron," the actor's longtime friend and publicist Allen Burry told RadarOnline.com. "He's not going everyday and not as often as he would like, but he is still visiting with him."

Cameron Douglas, a sometime actor and deejay who was busted with meth and heroin, is locked up at Lewisburg Federal Prison Camp. The trip from Douglas' Manhattan home is roughly 180 miles, or around three hours.

The Oscar-winning actor underwent eight weeks of chemo after doctors discovered a walnut-sized tumor in his throat and determined he had Stage 4 cancer. Although he has appeared frail in recent photos, Burry said he is recuperating.

"Michael is totally focused on his recovery," Burry told People magazine.
