A woman was found dead inside a car that was set ablaze Thursday night in Southeast D.C., police say.
Officers were called about a shooting and came to the 800 block of Adrian Place SE about 7:21 p.m. when they found a car on fire.
Video from a News4 viewer showed huge flames consuming the entire car.
Once firefighters extinguished the fire, they found an unconscious woman inside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Police have not identified the woman.
