DC 12-Year-Old Holds Disaster Relief Bake Sale on Her Birthday

Instead of throwing a regular party for her 12th birthday, D.C. resident Priya Allen and her friends hosted a bake sale to benefit disaster victims in Mexico and the Caribbean. “We had a sleepover and got up at 6:40 to clean and bake and get ready,” she said.
