Virginia Delegate Narrates Being Tear-Gassed By Police During Protest

Virginia Delegate Ibraheem S. Samirah took to social media to say he was tear gassed by police while participating in protests in response to the death of George Floyd while in police custody. Samirah, who represents parts of Fairfax and Loudoun counties, said the police “instigated riots by firing into our peaceful crowd and charging towards us for no reason.”
