A vandal broke into a work truck and did $25,000 in damage to the grounds and buildings of a Loudoun County park, police said.

Franklin Park is closed while police investigate.

Police aren't sure when the damage happened, but said it was before 7 a.m. Saturday.

Franklin Park is a 200-acre park in Purcellville, Virginia in western Loudoun. It includes many sports facilities used by the community.
