VA: Veterans' Benefits Will Be Suspended in Prolonged Shutdown

Local military veterans will lose their VA benefits later this month if the government shutdown continues. The agency says it will have burned through the money remaining to pay them. The News4 I-Team learned that in the meantime, local vets face the prospect of longer waits and larger delays in getting those benefits.
