UMD Students File Petition to Get Out of On-Campus Leases

Some University of Maryland students led a car caravan demonstration demanding they be released from on-campus rental agreements without penalty. News4’s Tracee Wilkins reports more than 2,000 students have signed a petition on the issue, but the company that manages the properties said it cannot release students from their leases.
